Jacob turned two on the 26th, and I can still hardly believe it! Brigham gives me a hard time for calling him "baby" still, but until there is another one to claim the title, he will always be my baby!

Brigham called out to me last night, asking me to bring him a glass bowl as quick as I could, but to stand back to hand it to him. It turns out that he stepped on something painful and looked down to see a small movement and what looked like the curve of a scorpion's tail. It was almost impossible to see because it was exactly the same color as the carpet, but thanks to a black light (a parting gift from our friends, the McBrides), we could see it clearly! Brigham called poison control, and they said that there are no deadly scorpions in Albuquerque, so that was a relief, but I still freaked out. THERE WAS A SCORPION IN OUR HOUSE!!!

We just got back from Cozumel

Tommy and I were lucky enough to leave our boys with Grandma and spend a week in Cozumel Mexico. It is such a fun little island with plenty of things to do... although we spent almost all of our time snorkeling and enjoying the sunshine on the beach. One of the highlights of the trip was swimming with the dolphins, I've wanted to do that since I was a little girl. It was such a blast and a nice break :)

Tommy's back and work again, and I'm getting back into the cleaning and taking care of the boys. They were sick the week before our vacation and I came home from vacation sick, so we really haven't done a lot.

Christa - I'm so excited for you guys the house looks beautiful. And Congratulations to Brigham! How do you like New Mexico so far?

Amanda - Your little girl is so pretty! I can't wait to see her (when we are all healthy we'll come visit)

New Addition

Hey Gang,

I just wanted to congratulate Brigam on his graduation. I love your new home you found. Good Luck with your internship and residency.

We had a new addition join our home last month. Her name is Aysia Lynne and was born June 17th (Father's Day and Taylor's Birthday). She weighed 8lbs. 3 oz and was 19 inches long. She is well tempered and a lot of fun.

We've moved to New Mexico!

Our NM home!

So for all those who don't know, we matched in Albuquerque, New Mexico! It was a bit of a shock at first, but we are very pleased. Especially Christa. Albuquerque is a really fun place for families, and we are enjoying renting a brand new 4 bedroom home. What a step up from our 2 bedroom apartment! The only disappointment is the unfinished back yard. Hopefully that will change soon. The weather here is beautiful, and there are plenty of outdoor activities. We hope you all will plan a trip down to visit sometime within the next 3 years! It's only a 9 hour drive! So brush up on your Spanish and come on down!

Welcome everyone-- again!

Hey there to all of our high school buddies! This is attempt #2 at keeping us in touch. The myfamily.com site was great, but costs money, which we are a little short of at the moment (although we do get a paycheck FINALLY-- it's just not a big one unfortunately).

Anyway, I'm hoping that we can all get going again on this site to post news, pictures, etc. It's been awhile, so we'd love an update from all of you!
