Dastrup Update

I'm so excited to see that a few people have been to our site since I last checked! Jake, I tried to invite you to be a contributing member, but I guess I have an old email address. I just need your new one, and I'll invite you again! And thanks for sharing the fun news and pictures about Jay's engagement! That's so exciting! I'd love more details!

Before the update, I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMANDA!!! Thirty years old! I hope you had a terrific day that included at least one babysitter.

As for us, Brigham is finishing up the last two months of his first year of residency (not that I'm counting down or anything...). It's been a busy year for him, but overall not as bad as we expected. We hear that next year should make up for that.

Benjamin is 4 1/2 and loves being silly. After a small but passionate affair with super heroes, he has returned to his true love in life-- dinosaurs. I can't say I'm sorry about that.

The big news from our little Jacob is that he finally started walking in January at 2 1/2! We are so exited and happy about that!

We just returned from back-to-back trips to San Diego (Brigham had a conference there) and Boston (we left the kiddos and went to see our good friend and Brigham's trainee run the Boston marathon). We are excited to come to Utah in July for my brother's wedding and in August for Brigham's sister's. Hopefully we'll be able to catch up with some if not all of you then!

Growing UP!

The Kids are 5, 3, and 10 months now and growing up way too fast. Aysia has lots of dark curly hair and a personality that is contagious. Jayden has almost completed his first year of school and I remind him that he has a minimum of 16 -20 years left (college included).

Jayden and Noah had a chance to show off their skiing skills a couple of times this year. The latest was a trip to the cabin at Brighton Ski resort.

Making Himself at Home

Jacob is a big believer in making himself comfortable, and to him comfort is feeling the breeze on his little nethers. He continues to take the liberty of making himself comfortable anytime his parents are not looking. He also does so at night if not in a zip-up sleeper. Two nights ago all his sleepers were dirty...
